Second Chance Animal Society (SCAS) is a non- profit, non governmental organisation aiming to help the homeless animals that set up in 2009 by a small group of animal lovers who came together after reading about one lady’s appeal for help in caring for a litter of abandoned puppies.Second Chance Animal Society is a no kill dog shelter dedicated to providing shelter, food and medical care to abandoned, sick or injured strays. SCAS goal to help find good homes for as many puppies as possible so they can lead happy lives with new families rather than spending their lives on the streets looking for scraps to eat.

PAWS Animal Welfare Society

PAWS is a non-profit animal shelter located in Petaling Jaya. PAWS has been in operation since 1987 and presently has over 250 dogs and 250 cats under their care. PAWS receive the surrender of unwanted dogs and cats which will be vaccinated, dewormed, neutered/spayed, and put up for adoption.You can donate to PAWS online or at the shelter. The shelter is fully funded by donations and proceeds from charitable events, which helps make all this possible!

Strive for Animals Welfare Association

SAW is a non-kill animal shelter established on January 2014, located at Selangor formed by a group of young genuine animal lovers, SAW have rescued a lot of lives through years. we exist to fight for animal welfare as SAW has been helping to reduce the number of strays in Malaysia by spaying and neutering these cats, as well as providing food and shelter. SAW's mission is to rescue, rehabilitate and rehome stray animals. They provide shelter and a loving environment for homeless animals until they find their forever home.

S.I Home Shelter

S.I (Seroja Inn) Home Shelter is a non-profit animal shelter founded by Muhamad Razeef bin Che Shamah in 2012. The shelter operated as an NGO and rely on the generosity of the community to stabilize their finances with which they use to care and maintain the health of the sheltered animals.

S.I Home Shelter is situated in Subang Jaya and have multiple social media outlets to spread their contribution to the betterment of stray animals with the most prominent social media being Facebook. 

According to their Facebook page, the shelter cares for more than 400 cats and 12 dogs including injured and abandoned animals. Some of them are paralyzed, infected by viruses (FIP/FIV/FELV/PARVO), and some even carry fungal infections (SPORO). There are also blind cats, three-legged dogs and cats and many other heartbreaking cases housed in the shelter. 

As the amount of stray increases, so does the needs of the shelter to take care of them.
