You don't need to be a professional photographer, photos taken from your phone work perfectly! You can upload individual images or a collage, and we'll combine your pets into the same portrait. You can also add any notes on the cart page or in the notes box that appears after you have uploaded your photo(s) e.g. Remove collar, have pet smiling, make sure eyes are blue. We often create portraits of pets that have passed away or for someone buying as a gift for a fellow pet lover and will not have access to a wide choice of photos. Please don't worry about that, as our artists are very talented at what they do - we can always make it work.

When do I get the preview?

You will receive an email with a link to login to your order dashboard and approve or request any revisions 2-3 days after you have placed your order. (This may take up to 7 days during busy periods) You can login to our order dashboard here.

When if I don't like it?

Each order comes with free unlimited revisions! We will work with you until you are 100% happy with the final result.

What is the Digital Download?

The digital download is when we draw your pet in our cartoon style and send you the artwork via email. This is a high-resolution image that is 300 DPI making it suitable for printing your own copies that will be high-quality. Once purchased, you will own the full rights to the digital download to do as you please! You can also use the art as a screensaver, print your own copies, and more. You can always upgrade to a canvas, blanket, phone case, etc.

How do I choose more than 3 pets?

We have a separate product in which you can choose between 4-9 pets/people. Click here to shop our 4 or more characters pet canvas. If you would like more than 9 pets, or if you want more than 3 pets on any of our other products, such as a blanket, mug etc. Please contact us here or email us at hello@ddmk.com

Do you offer any more backgrounds?

Yes! We have more backgrounds available for you to choose from here. If you would like to use any of these backgrounds, simply leave the 'Choose a background' option blank and either leave a note with the background you would like, or you can email this to us at hello@ddmk.com

When do I add my pet name?

You can add your pet name(s) to the notes box that appears after you upload your pet photos or during the art approval stage.

Can you combine people/pets from different photos into one drawing?

Absolutely! You can upload individual images of each pet, drawing them together on the canvas. Alternatively, you can upload a group photo!

I can't upload a photo?

If you cannot upload a photo to our website, you can order this product here and then email us the photos to hello@ddmk.com Or, you can email us letting us know what you would like to order and we can email you an invoice for this.

How long does it take to get the final product?

You will typically receive your preview in 2-3 working days, and once approved, it will take another 5-7 days to be delivered.

Can you draw all animals?

Yes! We can draw any pet you like. We've drawn dogs, cats, horses, bunnies, mice, snakes, spiders, turtles, goldfish, ducks, and more! See what your pet will look like here.

What if my pet has passed away and I don't have good photos?

We often create portraits of pets that have crossed the rainbow bridge. We can always work with our customers and make it work even if they do not have a clear photo of their pet. Our artists are very talented at what they do!
